Description
An Antique Japanese Imari bowl, of scalloped-rim porcelain form, decorated in the polychrome Imari style. The design features a central cobalt blue floral or foliate medallion, encircled by alternating iron-red shaped panels and green foliage with additional floral motifs extending to the scalloped rim and exterior. The predominant color palette includes cobalt blue, iron red, green, and orange tones. No visible text or maker’s marks are present; the base is decorated with concentric blue rings and has a glazed white interior foot ring.
