Description
A pair of Crown Ducal Ware ‘Bird of Paradise’ vases. Each glazed ceramic vase features a flared trumpet-shaped neck and a wide, stout base. They are decorated on an off-white ground with polychrome depictions of small birds, butterflies, and flowering branches, accented with a gilded band around the rim. The underside of one vase bears a black printed mark, ‘CROWN DUCAL WARE ENGLAND’ surmounted by a crown motif.
