Description
A Yuan Dynasty blue and white porcelain bottle vase with a pear-shaped body tapering to a tall, slender neck that flares at the mouth. The main body decoration consists of a large central peony bloom surrounded by scrolling foliage, bordered by bands of stylized geometric patterns and upright plantain leaves on the shoulder and neck. The base is unglazed, revealing a light buff-colored biscuit.
