A Coalport Polka Dot Clown Figurine and a Collection of Decorative Glass Objects clown has thumb damage
Description
A Coalport ceramic figurine depicting a smiling female clown, dressed in a pink polka-dot gown with ruffled white accents and a pointed hat. Accompanying the figurine is a collection of six glass objects. These include a dark blue decorative bottle or vase with a clear fluted top containing internal orange fish-like inclusions and bubbles; a tear-drop shaped clear glass ornament or paperweight with internal gold-toned flakes and blue-green glass swirls; a spherical clear glass paperweight encasing a vibrant yellow abstract organic form; and two miniature blown glass animal figures, one resembling a blue bird with a red head, the other a white and brown cat-like creature. Also present is a heart-shaped glass bottle, sealed with a cork, containing stratified layers of multi-colored sand. This sand bottle bears a tag, partially obscured, which reads “sables ocreux du luberon” (ochre sands from Luberon) and “couleurs originales” (original colors), with a visible partial artist’s name, “MARIE CLAUDE SAV…”.
