An Edwardian Art Nouveau Oak Smokers Cabinet
Description
An Edwardian Art Nouveau oak smokers cabinet. This small, freestanding cabinet features a hinged door to the front with an inset ornate cast metal panel depicting a stylized foliate design. A lower pull-out drawer is fitted with a metal drop handle. When open, the interior reveals a main compartment with a top lid, a central recess containing a lidded reddish-brown ceramic jar, flanking vertical compartments holding various metal tools, and an open shelf with additional small items, including a small green book-like object. A white auction sticker on the front door indicates “Dovetail Auctioneers Ltd” and lot number “24.”
