Victorian Mahogany Bookcase Display Cabinet
Description
A Victorian mahogany bookcase display cabinet, constructed in two parts from a reddish-brown hardwood. The upper section features two framed glass doors with rounded upper corners, enclosing multiple interior shelves. The lower section consists of two solid wood paneled doors. Architectural details include a prominent molded cornice, and classical-inspired carved leaf motifs adorn the stiles below the cornice and flanking the central divide between the upper and lower sections. Keyholes are visible on all four doors. The cabinet rests on a sturdy plinth base. No visible text or markings are discernible.
