Description
A pair of vintage lidded boxes. The first is an oval, dark reddish-brown box, featuring a silver-coloured ornate floral or foliate inlay on its lid and a decorative serrated edge, with a black interior. The second is a rectangular dark metal box, possibly tin, with a lid intricately decorated with mother-of-pearl or abalone inlay in a geometric pattern. This rectangular box’s lid also displays the text “A B A S O L” within its central panel and “MADE IN GERMANY” along its lower edge. Both boxes exhibit dark interiors.
