Description
A WW2 RAF Ditching Whistle, of cylindrical design and likely nickel-plated, stamped ‘A.M.’ with a debossed crown motif and numbered ’23/230′. Accompanying this are three other whistles: two open-top, box-style pea whistles, each marked ‘SONDIC WHISTLE MADE IN INDIA’; and one cylindrical whistle bearing the ‘ACME’ brand name within a circular mark, possibly incorporating a ‘TH’ monogram, and clearly marked ‘ENGLAND’. All items are metallic, likely nickel-plated.
