A Victorian Engraved Silver Scent Flask
Description
A Victorian silver scent flask, circular and flattened in form. The surface is extensively decorated with intricate engraved foliate scrollwork, characteristic of the period, centered around a shield-shaped cartouche containing an intertwined monogram, possibly ‘AM’ or ‘MA’. The flask is fitted with a decorative screw-top cap, which also features matching scroll engraving and reeded details.
