A Group of Four Vintage Whistles, including Acme and The EMCA City Whistle
Description
A group of four vintage cylindrical metal whistles, each fitted with a suspension loop at the top. The first three whistles are fabricated from a silver-toned metal, likely nickel-plated brass. The leftmost whistle is clearly inscribed “ACME CITY WHISTLE ENGLAND.” The second whistle, similar in form, is marked “THE EMCA CITY WHISTLE MADE IN ENGLAND,” with some text partially obscured. The third silver-toned whistle exhibits no discernible markings. The fourth whistle is crafted from a darker, patinated metal, consistent with brass or bronze, featuring an embossed, stylized emblem on its body and a contrasting brighter brass band at its base.
