A Cased Sterling Silver & Guilloché Enamel Two-Piece Vanity Set
Description
A cased two-piece vanity set, comprising a hairbrush, hand mirror, and comb, featuring sterling silver and pink guilloché enamel. The hinged, rectangular case is covered in reddish-brown plush externally and lined with pink satin or silk internally, featuring a brass-tone clasp and fitted compartments. Both the hand mirror and hairbrush have oval backs adorned with pink guilloché enamel, exhibiting a fine basketweave or engine-turned pattern, set within silver-tone metal frames. The hairbrush contains light-colored natural bristles, and the comb is constructed from a material resembling tortoiseshell. Faint, obscured hallmarks or purity marks are visible on the metal rim of the hairbrush.
