Description
A pair of British sterling silver candlesticks, presenting a modernist or minimalist design. Each candlestick features a flared circular base supporting a tapering stem and a cupped bobeche. Visible hallmarks on the underside of one base include a crown, a lion passant, a capital letter ‘M’ within a square cartouche, and a capital letter ‘E’ in a separate, shaped cartouche, collectively indicating British sterling silver manufacture.
