A pair of 19th Century oak wainscot chairs. Each chair features a tall, rectangular backrest with a prominent arched central panel and a scalloped upper rail. The square seats are supported by turned front legs and straight, square-sectioned rear legs. The chairs are dark-stained. No visible text or markings are apparent.
