Lot 299:
A Collection of Decorative Porcelain and Composite Figurines, with a Bronze-Tone Bust
Description
A collection of approximately sixteen decorative figurines. The majority are crafted from glazed porcelain or ceramic, rendered in a Rococo or Neoclassical Revival style. These figures feature white bodies with prominent cobalt blue and gold accents, depicting figures in 18th-century aristocratic attire, bridal couples, domestic scenes, and children. Also included are a porcelain or composite ballerina figure in pink and a golden-hued female figure carrying a flower basket, the latter bearing a metal plaque inscribed “The Flower Seller of Ross…” (remainder illegible). A distinct bronze-tone bust of an Egyptian pharaoh on a faux-marble base, likely cold-cast bronze or resin, completes the lot. A small sticker displaying “50” is visible on one figurine.
