Description
A collection of Royal Doulton ‘Countess’ pattern dinner and tea ware components, likely dating to the early 20th century, specifically around 1908 based on the visible R.N. 529784 registration number. The collection features a white ground with elegant gold trim and two distinct decorative patterns: one with a wide border of interlocking brown/gold geometric shapes interspersed with small pink roses and green leaves, and another with delicate pink rose sprays. Visible pieces include a large scalloped serving platter, cups, saucers, side plates, a shallow bowl, and a creamer or small pitcher. The underside of one cup clearly displays a green backstamp reading “ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND COUNTESS R.N. 529784,” alongside a handwritten “3044 J” mark.
