Lot 261:
A Chinese Porcelain Floral Trinket Dish, Bearing a Qianlong Mark
Description
This small, round porcelain dish features a shallow, concave form. It is decorated on a white ground with stylized floral motifs in pink, purple, green, light blue, and yellow around both the interior and exterior rims. A thin gilt band accents the top edge. The unglazed footrim on the base displays a red square seal mark, which translates to “Made in the Qianlong Reign” (乾隆年製). A white sticker bearing the handwritten number “8859” is present on the interior. The overall aesthetic suggests a traditional Chinese ceramic style.
