A collection of approximately sixteen pieces of commemorative royal ceramic or porcelain ware, predominantly plates and mugs, dating from the early 20th century to the early 21st century. Each item features polychrome decorations, often highlighting the Royal Arms, royal portraits, and scenes related to various British monarchical events, accented with gilding. Visible inscriptions detail specific commemorations including King George V and Queen Mary’s Golden Jubilee (1910-1935), King George VI and Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation (May 12, 1937), Queen Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee (1977), the marriage of HRH The Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer (1981), Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th Birthday, and Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th Anniversary of the Coronation (1953-2013).
