Description
This collection comprises various numismatic items and commemorative souvenirs, predominantly focusing on British and Commonwealth monarchical history. Prominently featured is a 2010 Royal Mint UK Proof Coin Set, presented in a black velvet-lined display box, containing multiple modern British coins of varying metallic tones. Also included is a framed “BRITISH MONARCHS 1837 To Date” set, displaying five copper-toned coins featuring profiles of Queen Victoria, Edward VII, George V, George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. A “GREAT BRITAIN 1968” blue card presents 5 pence and 10 pence coins, with explanatory text regarding the transition to decimal coinage. Two “TIM’S TELESCOPIC VIEWS” commemorative souvenirs for Queen Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee (1952-1977) are present: a cream-colored booklet with a pink floral border and a more vibrant pink booklet, both featuring royal imagery and text celebrating her Coronation (1952) and Silver Jubilee (1977). A small wooden box contains two gold-toned Australian coins, one dated 1980, the other possibly 1984.
