Description
A group of three Royal Doulton black basalt figures, each dated 1977. The lot comprises: ‘FAMILY H.N. 2636’, depicting a male and female figure embracing a swaddled infant; ‘PEACE H.N. 2635’, showing a seated child holding a small object; and ‘LOVERS H.N. 2634’, featuring a male and female figure in an embrace. Each sculpture is rendered in a dark grey, matte-finished ceramic or stoneware, consistent with Royal Doulton’s black basalt production. The base of each figure is marked with the Royal Doulton crown and lion logo, ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’, and ‘© ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LTD. 1977’, along with their respective titles and H.N. numbers.
