A Collection of KLM BOLS Delftware House Miniatures and a Ceramic House Model
Description
A collection of twenty-two ceramic architectural models, each depicting a multi-story Dutch canal house, rendered primarily in white and blue, consistent with Delftware, and topped with a yellow stopper. The bases are marked “Blue Delft’s exclusively made for KLM by BOLS AMSTERDAM 1575” and include a product number such as “103GP”. These items are known to be miniature liquor bottles issued by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, containing Bols Jenever. Accompanying these is a larger, more detailed ceramic model of a half-timbered house in brown, white, and dark brown, with a partial “BOL” inscription visible on its roof.
