Description
A cased set of Art Deco sterling silver coffee spoons by Arthur Price, Birmingham, dated 1936. The lot comprises six small sterling silver spoons, each designed with a black spherical element integrated into its handle. Visible hallmarks on the underside of at least one spoon bowl include a Lion Passant, an Anchor for the Birmingham assay office, and a date letter ‘D’, confirming sterling silver and the 1936 date. The set also includes two associated silver napkin rings. All items are presented in a fitted, hinged case with a faux tortoiseshell-patterned exterior and a white satin and black velvet interior.
