Description
A fall-front secretary desk constructed from wood, likely walnut, featuring prominent burr veneer on the fall-front and drawer fronts. The desk exhibits a Queen Anne or early Georgian revival style, characterized by four cabriole legs with carved shell motifs on the knees and terminating in pad feet. The interior is fitted with pigeonholes, small drawers, and a central cupboard. The writing surface is equipped with a heavily worn, likely leather or faux leather, insert.
