A Pair of Vintage Portable Typewriters: An Imperial Good Companion 5 and a Brother Deluxe 250TR
Description
A pair of vintage portable typewriters, comprising an Imperial ‘Good Companion 5’ and a Brother ‘DELUXE 250TR’. The Imperial model features a light blue-green metal casing, marked ‘W. H. S. & S. Ltd. LEEDS, BRADFORD & HUDDERSFIELD’, and is presented in an open carrying case. The Brother model is bright yellow with a plastic casing, marked ‘MADE IN JAPAN’, and features distinctive red ‘TAB’ and ‘REPEAT SPACER’ keys. It is also presented in an open carrying case. Both typewriters are equipped with standard QWERTY keyboards and date from the mid-to-late 20th century.
