Description
A collection of approximately eleven ceramic figural cow creamers or pitchers, displaying a range of styles likely from the mid to late 20th century. Each item is crafted from glazed earthenware or porcelain, featuring varied hand-painted or decal decorations in predominantly white, brown, and black, with accents of blue, green, pink, and yellow. Decorative motifs include floral patterns, Dutch-style windmills and blue and white Delftware-inspired designs, as well as whimsical, cartoonish facial features on several examples. Noteworthy details include one cow wearing a straw hat with a blue ribbon and a small bird on its back, and another with a visible bell. The word “JERSEY” is clearly inscribed on the side of one creamer, referring to the cow breed.
