Description
A Royal Doulton ‘Dick Turpin’ character jug. This hand-painted, glazed ceramic jug depicts the head and shoulders of a man with a stylized wig, mustache, and a brown tri-cornered hat, dressed in a green cravat or jacket. The base features a clear green printed backstamp showing a crown above “ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND”, along with faint impressed numbers, likely a model series, and a small hand-applied green mark. Consistent with mid-20th-century production.
