A collection of approximately ten ceramic tankards and steins of varied styles and periods. The lot includes examples from the Franklin Porcelain ‘Official Tankards of the World’s Great Breweries’ series, alongside other distinct pieces. Among these are a lidded stein featuring a pastoral landscape scene on its body and a relief-decorated pewter lid, a textured dark grey ceramic tankard, a cream-colored mug inscribed “John Peel” with related song verses, and a commemorative mug bearing a crest with the inscription “BAND OF ROYAL AIR FORCE GERMANY” and “KEEPERS OF THE PEACE”. Auction stickers from Shelbys Auctioneers Ltd with lot numbers 153 and 8860 are present on the RAF Germany mug. Decorative motifs across the collection range from illustrative scenes with figures and architecture to crests and textual elements. The majority of the items are light-colored ceramic.
