A Windsor-Style Rocking Armchair, Made in Terzani, Italy
Description
A Windsor-style rocking armchair, made in Terzani, Italy, mid-20th century or later. This dark-stained hardwood rocking armchair features a spindle back with a distinctive curved bow-back crest rail and a shaped seat. The chair exhibits a glossy finish. A partially obscured label and embossed text on the underside of the seat clearly read ‘MADE IN TERZANI ITALY’. The design is characteristic of a modernized Windsor-style, visually consistent with designs by Ercol.
