A Chinese Famille Rose Small Dish, Bearing a Jingdezhen Mark
Description
A Chinese Famille Rose small dish, of shallow circular form in white glazed porcelain. The dish features a symmetrical arrangement of stylized floral motifs in pink, blue, green, and yellow around the rim, accented by a partially worn gilt edge. The unglazed foot rim is a light tan. On the underside, a red rectangular seal mark is visible, which reads 景德镇制 (Jǐngdézhèn zhì), translating to “Made in Jingdezhen.”
