Description
An assortment of approximately twelve vinyl long-play (LP) records encompassing pop, soft rock, and synth-pop genres from the 1960s through the 1980s. The collection features several prominent artists and titles. A double album set titled Bob Dylan At Budokan is included, featuring a red-tinted photographic sleeve and a white circular adhesive sticker stating 2 LP SET INCLUDING SPECIAL COLOUR POSTER AND 16 PAGE BOOKLET. A Eurythmics album, Be Yourself Tonight, displays a portrait of Annie Lennox with the artist name printed in red at the top. A greatest hits compilation for the band Smokie features a group portrait and printed text listing the tracks Living Next Door To Alice and Lay Back In The Arms Of Someone.
Representing 1960s pop is Gary Puckett & The Union Gap’s Greatest Hits, featuring a monochrome portrait of Puckett in tinted spectacles; the sleeve bears the CBS logo and the catalogue number 64115, along with a printed note stating STEREO Can also be played on mono equipment. Another record sleeve shows the pink and black Atlantic Records fan logo on a black ground with the word STEREO in a yellow box and the partial title In. The remaining records in the stack show various spine colours and edge details consistent with commercial LP releases of the mid-to-late 20th century.
