A Lilliput Child's Toy Typewriter
Description
A mid-20th-century Lilliput portable child’s typewriter featuring a grey crinkle-effect metal frame. The machine is fitted with green plastic keys, including three red keys printed FIG. SHIFT and CAP. SHIFT. A yellow star-shaped logo is applied to the front panel with printed red and black text reading Lilliput. Above a centrally positioned green plastic ribbon reverse switch is a yellow rectangular label printed with RIBBON REVERSE. The typewriter retains two metal spools holding a two-tone black and red ink ribbon. The platen is adjusted by two pinkish-red plastic knobs.
