A Collection of 20th Century Glazed Earthenware and Studio Style Ceramics
Description
A collection of assorted 20th-century glazed earthenware ceramic items comprising various forms and glazes. The collection includes a brown-glazed celery vase of tapering form with a scalloped rim, featuring moulded relief decoration of scrolling foliage and vertically embossed letters reading CELERY. Also included is a large bulbous-form pot with a wide rim, finished in a mottled mid-green glaze. A modernist-style tall cylindrical vase features a two-tone glaze transitioning from a white satin upper section to a dark forest green base with a feathered edge. A small circular lidded jar displays heavily moulded relief decoration in an overlapping leaf pattern with a dark green and brown glaze. Completing the collection is a slender hourglass-form bud vase finished in a uniform olive green glaze. No maker marks are visible on the items.
