A twin-light brass-toned metal floor lamp, late 20th century
Description
A twin-light floor lamp or torchere constructed from metal with a brushed brass-toned finish, designed in a late 20th-century modern style. The piece features a heavy circular weighted base supporting two slender parallel rods that form the central stem. It is fitted with two shallow, dish-shaped metal shades of varying sizes, both oriented to provide upward, indirect lighting. A rectangular control housing is mounted to the stem. The lamp is wired with a black power cable and a standard UK three-pin plug. The minimalist form is in the style of designs by Holtkotter.
