Vintage Single-Cylinder Air-Cooled Outboard Boat Motor seagul
Description
This vintage outboard boat motor is attributed to the British Seagull company, featuring the distinctive design characteristics of the mid-20th century Forty or Century series. The unit consists of a single-cylinder air-cooled powerhead fitted with a Villiers-style magneto. A black-painted fuel tank is side-mounted to the engine assembly; embossed lettering is present on the tank but is not clearly legible from the provided images. The motor is attached to a long drive shaft which terminates in a three-blade metal propeller. The assembly includes a transom mounting bracket equipped with twin screw clamps.
