A Collection of Assorted British and Japanese Porcelain and Bone China Tableware
Description
An assortment of decorative ceramics, primarily teaware, comprising various forms and decorative styles. The lot includes items crafted from bone china, porcelain, and earthenware. Included in the collection are several teacups, matching and mismatched saucers, side plates, a small lidded sugar bowl, miniature creamers or jugs, and a stylized white ceramic pot. Notable pieces include a set featuring a rich emerald green glaze with hand-applied gold foliate and scroll gilding and central floral transfer-printed medallions. A commemorative teacup is present, featuring a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with text reading Coronation May 1953.
