UK 1953 Coronation, SG 532-535, Set of 4, Unmounted Mint
Description
A Harrington & Byrne presentation folder containing a set of four unmounted mint stamps issued by the United Kingdom in 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The collection comprises the 2 1/2d carmine-red (SG 532), 4d ultramarine (SG 533), 1s 3d green (SG 534), and 1s 6d grey-blue (SG 535) denominations. These stamps were produced via photogravure and feature the Coronation portrait and symbols of the United Kingdom, including the inscription POSTAGE REVENUE. The stamps are housed in individual clear mounts on a printed identification card titled The United Kingdom Unmounted Mint 1953 Coronation Stamp Collection. This card provides technical data including the first year of issue and specific denominations.
