A Collection of Vintage Plastic Toy Soldiers and Western Figures
Description
This lot comprises a group of moulded plastic toy figures featuring various historical and Western themes. Included in the collection are British infantry in red coats, American Civil War era soldiers in blue and grey uniforms, and a diverse range of cowboys and Native Americans, both on foot and mounted on horseback. Many figures are captured in dynamic action poses. Several figures are mounted on rectangular, green-painted metal bases characteristic of the Britains Deetail series. Others show design features associated with manufacturers such as Timpo, Lone Star, and Crescent. The figures are finished with factory-applied paint. A small white adhesive label marked 9731 is affixed to the rim of the tray. A handwritten note on the tray states TRAY NOT IN SALE please leave in Room, indicating the red plastic tray is for display purposes only and is not part of the lot.
