Roberts Portable Transistor Radio
Description
A portable transistor radio manufactured by Roberts Radio Co. Ltd. The unit features a rectangular case finished in black leatherette with a gold-toned expanded metal speaker grille. A gold-toned metal script badge reading Roberts is mounted on the front panel. The top control panel includes two cream-coloured plastic knobs for volume and tuning, alongside three push-buttons for band selection and power. The radio is fitted with a carry handle, currently shown with a white protective wrap. An auction stock tag with the handwritten number 9751 is adhered to the top corner.
