A Floor-Standing Wrought Iron Five-Light Candelabrum
Description
A floor-standing wrought iron candelabrum of traditional design. The piece is constructed with a central square-section shaft supporting a five-light header. The candle holders are formed from flat iron strips bent into U-shapes and are arranged in a stepped, triangular configuration. Extensive hand-forged scrollwork decorates the upper section and the transition to the base. The stand is supported by a tripod base featuring outward-curving scrolled feet and additional scrolled bracket reinforcement. The ironwork has a dark black-painted finish. No maker’s marks are visible on the piece. A small white adhesive label is present on the central shaft, likely an auction house stock or lot number.
