A Duo of Vintage Suitcases Containing a Collection of Yarn
Description
A collection of two vintage suitcases, one presented open and one closed. The open suitcase is finished in a tan leatherette and contains multiple clear plastic bags of yarn in shades of pale yellow, light grey, and charcoal. One bag features the printed word Lingerie and another contains a handwritten paper slip reading 20 oz. The closed suitcase is teal-coloured with a textured exterior finish, featuring three metal latches and a central teal plastic carry handle. A small white identification label marked 501 is adhered to the front. The design and construction are consistent with mid-century luggage, in the style of manufacturers such as Aero Pak or Samsonite.
