An assortment of postage stamps and philatelic ephemera contained within two albums and loose. The lot includes various UK and Commonwealth issues. One album page features handwritten notes pertaining to Zambia commemoratives for the 1967 inauguration of the National Assembly building, identifying a perforation 14.5 variety with no watermark and a noted gold shift on the 3d denomination. Multiple UK high-value Castle series stamps are present, specifically the £1 Carrickfergus Castle value with circular date stamp cancellations. The collection further includes numerous Machin head definitives, a Malaysia 40c definitive, and other world issues. Printed ephemera includes a flyer for the Spring and Autumn Stampex 1991 exhibition. The stamps comprise a mix of mint and used examples, primarily perforated.
