A Collection of Silver and Enamel British Commemorative Medals and a Locket
Description
A collection of British commemorative medals and silver jewellery items. The group includes two shield-shaped award medals for the International Dance Masters Association (I.D.M.A.), both inscribed OLD TIME AMATEUR MEDAL TESTS and featuring a relief of a dancing couple. One medal is finished with a blue enamel banner and the other with a red enamel banner. The collection also features a circular pendant with a blue enamel ground and a gold-tone profile bust of King George VI, inscribed GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX. A small circular commemorative token for the QUEEN ELIZABETH II SILVER JUBILEE 1977 is included, featuring red and blue enamel borders. Completing the lot is an oval silver locket with an engraved floral pattern on the lid and a small paper lot tag.
