Description
A topographical street scene executed in watercolour on paper, attributed to the English artist Louisa Fennell. The composition depicts a historic town setting featuring multi-gabled and timber-framed buildings under a pale sky. Figures are shown in the foreground and midground, including an individual pushing a handcart. The work is signed L. Fennell in script in the lower right corner. It is presented behind glass within a dark green window mount and a decorative moulded gilt-wood frame.
