A Pair of Signed Decorative Glazed Plaques in Gilt Moulded Frames
Description
A pair of decorative plaques featuring high-gloss imagery on a composite or ceramic substrate. One plaque is of circular form and depicts a brown and white spaniel dog in a landscape, bearing a signature in red script reading AUBRY. The second plaque is of rounded rectangular form and portrays two winged cherubs, after the composition L’Amour et Psyché, enfants by William-Adolphe Bouguereau, and is signed LADD in red script. Both items are finished with a thick glossy coating and are mounted in tiered, gold-toned moulded frames.
