A Collection of Alfretto Porcelain Napoleonic Military Figurines
Description
A collection of hand-painted glazed porcelain military figurines depicting various officers from the Napoleonic era, dated 1815. Each figure is mounted on a rectangular pedestal base with gilded borders and an identification title on the front facet. The subjects represented include an Officer of the Grenadier Company, an Officer of the 15th Light Dragoons, Officers of the British Line Infantry, an Officer of the Horse Grenadiers, and a Rifleman of the 95th Rifles. The base undersides feature a blue printed mark for the Alfretto Porcelain Collectors Series, including a stylized A logo and the designation Foreign. This series is characteristic of mid-20th-century decorative porcelain produced for international export.
