Description
An early 20th century stool constructed from oak with a dark-stained finish in the Jacobean Revival style. The piece features four barley-twist legs joined by a low-set rectangular stretcher rail. The frame incorporates raised side rails at the ends, each topped with two turned ball finials. The side panels are detailed with a recessed geometric carved motif. The seat is upholstered in a teal-green velvet fabric, finished with a border of brass-headed upholstery tacks. Two contemporary adhesive auction labels are present on the side panel.
