A Folk Art Style Painted Wooden Semi-Circular Decorative Panel
Description
A semi-circular painted wooden decorative panel, possibly intended for use as a chimney board or decorative fire screen. The central motif features a fruited orange tree in a brown earthenware-style pot, rendered in a folk-art manner. The tree is shown with green leaves, orange fruit, and small white blossoms. Two additional oranges are depicted resting on a tabletop at the base of the pot. The background consists of a dark upper section transitioning into a natural wood grain finish on the lower half. A small white adhesive label with handwritten numbers is attached to the top centre edge. No maker’s signatures or marks are visible on the front surface.
