A Pair of Large Heavy-Duty Steel T-Bar Sash Clamps
Description
A pair of large-capacity woodworking sash clamps designed for professional joinery and furniture assembly. The clamps feature heavy-gauge steel T-bars finished in dark blue paint, paired with cast iron heads and sliding tailstocks. The clamping force is applied via a large-diameter steel screw mechanism with a sliding T-handle at one end. The tailstocks are adjustable along the length of the bar, secured into place via a series of pre-drilled holes. These tools are characteristic of mid-20th-century British industrial workshop equipment. No maker’s marks are clearly visible, although a small, illegible white label is present on one of the bars.
Approximate length: 1.5 – 2 metres.
