Description
An assortment of miscellaneous hand tools and equestrian items. The collection includes a wide black leather strap mounted with two brass horse brasses featuring openwork wheel or sunburst motifs. Hand tools comprise a pair of circlip pliers marked Anderton Circlips, a large pair of forged steel dividers or calipers with significant surface oxidation, and a pair of small metal scissors with circular finger loops. Further items include a small hammer with a round face and narrow peen, a pear-shaped wooden tool handle, a heavy cast iron cylindrical vessel, and a modern tool bearing a printed UK telephone number 01254 232807. A fragment of a metal rule is also present showing markings between 130 and 140. The items are presented within a clear plastic storage container.
