Description
A collector’s vinyl doll set titled Sweet Joys of Sisters, designed by artist Julie Fischer for The Ashton-Drake Galleries. The set comprises a larger girl doll and a smaller baby doll. The larger doll features a vinyl head with fixed brown eyes and long, brown synthetic hair styled with a pink ribbon bow. She is dressed in an original white cotton dress with lace trim and cream-coloured shoes with pink floral accents and brown soles. The baby doll is depicted in a sleeping pose with closed, moulded eyes and vinyl limbs, dressed in a coordinating pink and white crocheted outfit with a matching bonnet. The set is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, hand-inscribed with edition number A 7368 and featuring facsimile signatures of the artist and Executive Director Donald James.
