A group of volumes comprising early-to-mid 20th-century children’s literature and a range of contemporary reference works for collectors. The children’s books include Ameliaranne Keeps School, Warne’s Book of Fairy Stories published by Frederick Warne and Co, and an edition of Blackie’s Annual with pictorial boards. These older works are typically bound in publisher’s cloth or illustrated boards. The reference section features numerous specialist guides for the decorative arts, including the Stanley Gibbons Simplified Stamp Catalogue 1943, Miller’s guides for Glass and Victoriana, and Tomart’s Disneyana by Tumbusch. Other notable reference volumes include Compacts: Powder and Paint by Johnson (Schiffer Publishing), several Charlton Standard Catalogues for Royal Doulton and Beswick figurines, Royal Doulton Figures by Eyles and Dennis, and the third edition of Warman’s Jewellery by Christie Romero.
